Communities for International Development – Grant funds from the U. S. Agency for International Development distributed through the American International Health Alliance provides coordination of activities between U. S. cities and their partner cities in Russia where weapons of mass destruction are designed, developed, produced and stored.

Goal:  To create a process to address issues of health and human services, environment, education, economic development and federalism in targeted closed cities of Russia.

Major Achievements:  Funded in Fiscal year 2005, this project is in the planning phase.  During this year major efforts will focus on developing work teams in the U. S. and Russian cities that will develop plans to address problem areas.
